An EEBD is a device that is used to evacuate with safety from a dangerous environment that lacks normal breathing conditions caused by smoke from fire, gas leaks etc.

An EEBD comprises of the following items:
Air Cylinder with a bag
Regulator
Cylinder Valve
Hood Assembly which comprises a hood, an inner Mask, a visual alarm indicator, and the air supply hose
